Sister's Tour Deals With Women Health Issues:

Sister Soulja, community activist and dynamic speaker, was the anchor for the Tampax Total You Tour at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. Soulja is the Executive Director of Daddy's House Social Program, Inc., a not for profit corporation for urban youth financed by Sean Puffy Combs and Bad Boy Entertainment. The mission of the organization is to,"Educate and prepare youth ages 6-16 to be in control of their academic, cultural, and financial lives."
Souljah earned a degree in American History and African Studies from Rutgers University. Her first non-fiction book, No Disrespect, topped the Essence Magazine bestseller's list. Her latest novel, "The Coldest Winter Ever", is in pre-production for a movie to be produced by Jada Pinkett-Smith.

BET's Dynamic Duo of Dr. "Ro" and Mocha Lee brought the health and fitness leg of the tour. Dr. Rovenia Brock, co-host of "Heart & Soul," the exclusive health and fitness show of Black Entertainment Television and contributing nutrition editor to "Heart & Soul" magazine, is on a mission to place real health solutions on the plate of the fast-paced world. She has appeared on MSNBC and CNN offering advice on nutrition and health. Dr. Brock holds a doctorate in Nutritional Sciences with a M.S. degree in Community Nutrition and Broadcast Journalsim from Howard University. She also has a B.S. degree in Foods and Nutrition from Virginia State University. "WOW, she has all that and brains!"

Her co-host and 'partner-in-crime', Mocha Lee, is fast becoming a national authority in the world of fitness and health. She has been an aerobics teacher for the past seven years. She is also a certified personal trainer, competes in 5K races, fitness competitions, and does part-time modeling to promote health, beauty, and fitness. She currently holds the title of Ms Galaxy 1999 and is in training to defend her title in 2000. "Look out fellows, this is all woman, before approaching this Sister...You better eat your Wheaties!"

Lawrence with Fitness Expert, Donna Richarson-Joyner on the Tampax tour. Donna recently married the 'fly jock' Tom Joyner in a star studded wedding covered by Ebony magazine and hometown girl, Lynn Norment. Donna is Vice President and Board of Trustee Member of The Women's Sports Foundation. She has starred in over 15 award-winning videos, including her latest released exercise video, '3 Day Rotation'. She is an international fitness expert, certified by AFAA and ACE. She is also a National Aerobic Champion Silver Medalist and has lectured in over 40 countries. "Move over Fly Jock, it looks like you have finally met your match with this Flyy Girl!" Peace and Blessings to the both of you.


Brenda Perryman is author of "Mood Swings and Magic Carpet Rides" and "Moods For You". Perryman has taught Speech and Drama at both the high school and college level in Detroit for more than 20 years. She is the artistic director of the Detroit Society for the Advancement of Culture and Education. Recently, she was recognized by Daimler Chrysler Corporation for being their feature poet in its "Spirit in the Words" poetry program. Perryman's lates work, 'Tender Ravings', will be released this fall. She is on her second year with the Tampax Total You Tour as the resident "spirit expert."

Lawrence Wayne with Anne Sempowski, Feminine Care Expert, and 'brainchild' of the Tampax Total You Tour. In 1997, Sempowski served as the North American assistant brand manager for Always Alldays where she launced a new advertising campaign for the brand. A year later Anne became the Assistant Brand Manager for Tampax and implemented the "Tampax Was There" national advertising campaign. She later became the North American Brand Manager for Tampax and there developed the first African American educational marketing program with the Tampax Total You Tour concept. She is currently the North American Feminine Care Ethnic Marketing Manager, which includes marketing efforts with Tampax and several other Procter & Gamble Beauty Care products. You Go Girl!
